Edge Calculator

Supply a win probability and payout odds. This tells you whether the edge is real, how big it is, and how much of your bankroll it's safe to stake — it does not predict outcomes for you.

What this slider does: it sets how often you believe this bet actually wins. Right now it's set to 55 out of every 100 times — like a weighted coin that lands your way that often. Drag it, or type an exact number, and every number on this page (and the chart below) recalculates instantly for the new value — nothing is saved until you change it again.

Geometric growth rate vs. stake size

This redraws instantly whenever you move the slider or change the odds above. It answers: "if I keep betting this same edge over and over, how fast does my money grow at different bet sizes?" The line rises, peaks, then falls — the peak is the single best stake size; everything to its right means betting too much, which grows your money slower, not faster, and eventually guarantees you go broke.

Growth rate falls toward −∞ as the stake approaches 100% of bankroll — betting everything on a bet that can lose means certain eventual ruin.
